What can I study?
At Newcastle University, you can choose from hundreds of modules (classes/courses) across a wide range of subject areas. Tailor your study programme by either focusing on one subject area, combining modules from different disciplines, or exploring a specialist option.
As a Study Abroad student, you can:
- Study modules from a single subject area, such as Architecture
- Combine modules from different subject areas, such as Business, Communications and Biology
- Join our specialist Pre-Health Program, which includes a core module alongside elective modules of your choice
Information, guidance and module lists can be found here. Study Abroad students are asked to indicate provisional module preferences in their application.
Before choosing your modules, we recommend that you:
- Carefully read the information and guidance provided in the Module Catalogue before navigating to the module lists. This will help you to make appropriate choices.
- Speak with your home school advisors and Study Abroad office to ensure the modules you select count towards your degree.
- Contact us with any questions or queries. We are here to help you with your module selections.
