Next Steps in your UCAS Journey

Once all of your offers have been added to UCAS, you’ll receive an email letting you know. You can then log into your UCAS Hub to review and respond to your offers. This is where you’ll choose your firm (first) and insurance (second) choices - so take time to consider your options carefully and make sure to reply by the deadlines shown in your UCAS Hub.

If you haven’t secured a university place by August 2026, you may still be able to apply to Newcastle University through Clearing.

If you choose to join us, we’ll get in touch around six weeks before your course starts with details on how to complete your provisional online registration. We’ll also send you instructions on how to access your Newcastle University email account.

Once you arrive, you’ll be invited to take part in The Big Welcome - our Students’ Union’s week of activities designed to help you settle in, meet people, and feel at home.

Explore your Subject Area

Now that you've received an offer, it's a great time to explore your chosen subject in more depth. Our undergraduate course pages provide detailed information about what you'll study, including core and optional modules, teaching and assessment methods, and the facilities available to you.

You’ll also find insights into the wider opportunities that may be available as part of your course - such as study abroad options, industry placements, or field trips. Take a look and start picturing what your academic journey at Newcastle could look like.

These are conveniently located either on campus, within a short walk, or in the city centre itself - giving you a range of locations close to your lectures and Newcastle’s vibrant city life.

All sites are easily accessible by foot or public transport, putting you near everything from historic landmarks and cultural attractions to shops, bars, and restaurants.

Our accommodation options vary in price and facilities, providing supportive communities where you can study, socialise, and relax.

Information about the application process will be shared with offer holders by December 2026.

Finance

UK students can apply for tuition fee and maintenance (living cost) loans through the relevant Student Finance body from February/March 2026 for Autumn 2026 entry. For clear guidance on eligibility and how to apply, visit our dedicated webpage here.

We also provide support with budgeting and financial planning to help you manage your money throughout your time at university. If you're experiencing financial difficulties, our Student Financial Support team is here to offer advice, emergency loans, and help with living costs.

In addition, we offer a range of scholarships, bursaries, and prizes to support your studies.

Whether you're adjusting to university life, facing academic stress, or navigating personal challenges, you’ll also have access to school-based Wellbeing Advisers who can help you access tailored resources or direct you to the right support.
