International Pathway courses are specialist programmes designed for international students who want to study in the UK. The options available for you to study differ slightly for each partner, please check the information below to see what is available to you.

Our International Study Centre

Through our International Study Centre you can progress to study your dream degree at Newcastle University. You’re guaranteed a place on an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, if you meet the success requirements.

Developed in collaboration with our academics, pathway courses will give you the knowledge and skills you need to progress and succeed on your chosen degree.

Undergraduate pathway courses

International Foundation: A guaranteed route to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree
International Year One: Equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree at Newcastle University. You’ll continue straight to Year 2, provided you complete the programme and achieve the entry requirements
