Canvas Commons

NEW: A vision for education and skills at Newcastle University: Education for Life 2030+

What is Canvas Commons?

Canvas Commons is a digital repository within the Canvas Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) that enables educators to discover, share, and reuse teaching and learning resources. It provides access to a wide range of content, including modules, assignments, quizzes, pages, discussions, and entire course templates.

This tool is designed to support collaboration and the sharing of good practice and examples. Canvas Commons allows educators to contribute resources that can be made available to selected groups or the wider Canvas community. These resources can be imported directly into a Canvas course.

To learn more about how to use Canvas Commons including how to use resources from Canvas Commons in your courses, please visit the What is Canvas Commons page in the Instructure Guides.
