Welcome to your gym experience

Our open plan gym is fitted with the latest high performance equipment, from cardio, functional rig, lifting platforms, sled track and dedicated strength training zones. Our training environment has a fantastic combination of equipment, functional training space, design, technology and accessories to inspire our students and meet all their training needs.

Gym Floor Equipment

Our spacious open plan gym is a fitness paradise.  One large floor of training space fitted with the latest high performance equipment, from bespoke functional rig, Olympic lifting platforms, sled track and dedicated strength and functional equipment training zones.

What's on our gym floor:

  • 10 lifting platforms with IWF Olympic lifting bars & plates
  • Functional Rig - offering various strength training options through a full range of movement via our, attachments, gymnastic rings and high ropes.
  • Bench Press - 5 stations
  • Dumbbells & benches - up to 50kg dumbbells and 14 adjustable benches
  • Technogym plate loaded strength machines - leg press, hack squat, seated calf, bicep curl, tricep dip, pure row, T-bar row
  • Technogym pin select strength machines - seated leg curl, prone leg curl, leg extension, leg press, adductor/abductor, standing calf, low row, chest press, shoulder press, rear delt/pec fly, assisted pull-up, lat pulldown, abdominal crunch
  • Technogym cable machines - 14 stations
  • Technogym Cardio equipment - treadmill, stepper, crosstrainer, bikes, rowers
  • Booty Builder Hip Thrust
  • Body Composition Analysis - perfect for providing an instant analysis of your health and fitness status and monitoring progress over time. Measurements include, weight, body fat percentage, BMI, metabolic age, fat and muscle mass
  • Sled Track & Prowler
  • Functional & Bodyweight Training Zone
  • All kinds of accessories to enhance your training - kettlebells, medicine balls, plyo boxes, bands, mobility sticks
Gym Rules & Etiquette

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all users

Gym Rules & Etiquette

  • Do not leave equipment loaded with plates
  • Return all plates & equipment to the storage racks after every use
  • Clean & wipe down all equipment after every use
  • Only drop loaded bars on the drop zone areas of the lifting platforms
  • Liquid lifting chalk only
  • Do not drop the dumbbells
  • Gym wear at all times
  • Practice good personal hygiene
  • No bags or coats in the gym, except for small drawstring bags containing essential training equipment (e.g. gloves, lifting straps, resistance bands) are permitted where approved by gym staff.
  • Filming or photographing other members without their consent is NOT permitted.  Users may use their phones to take photos or film themselves in the gym, provided no other users are visible or identifiable and it does not disturb others. NO filming or photographic equipment such as tripods, mounts, stands, lighting rigs, selfie sticks or stabilising devices are allowed. Gym staff will monitor this and use their discretion to ask users to stop filming
  • No External Personal Trainers: Use of personal trainers who are NOT employed by Sport Services is strictly prohibited. You may not provide personal training services to, or receive personal training services from, any other member or guest, regardless of whether a fee is charged.

RESPECT THE GYM, USERS & STAFF

Sport Services reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership where a member's behaviour is inappropriate, unacceptable or poses a risk to the safety or wellbeing of staff or other gym users, or where there is a serious or repeated breach of the Gym Rules & Etiquette

Gym session timetable

From Monday 19 July you will no longer be required to pre-book your gym session, simply turn up and train at your preferred time.
