The good news? Wherever you’re living, you’re never far from everything Newcastle has to offer. And wherever you call home, you still have access to ResLife support, events and activities — in some cases, more than you might expect!

Moving somewhere new can feel like a LOT. New room. New flatmates. New city. New everything.
That’s where your ResLife team comes in.
Our coordinators are here to listen, whether you’re struggling with something, have a question, need a bit of advice or simply aren’t sure who to speak to.
We can:
- have a chat over email or phone
- meet you in person
- help you work through what’s going on
- point you towards the right support if we can’t help directly

Events
Our ResLife social events are FREE and open to you too!
If you’re living in one of our partnered accommodations, you might not have access to University accommodation buildings with your accommodation card, but don’t worry — our Student Assistants can give you access to social spaces during event hours.
Your accommodation might have its own social spaces and events too, but joining ResLife events gives you even more opportunities to meet people, try something new and get involved across the wider accommodation community.
