Introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about what you've done since graduating

I’ve gone into global businesses mainly - first starting in the marketing and sales departments then over time moving into the talent development side of HR. I’ve worked in various roles and companies, both consultancies and in-house. I've worked for AB InBev, BT and now Bolt.

Why did you choose to study at Newcastle University?

The university's location, atmosphere and course flexibility were really important to me.

How do you think your course prepared you for your chosen career?

Studying business and modern language gave me great resilience and the ability to connect with people from all cultures.

What did you enjoy most about your time at Newcastle University?

Everything was amazing! The learning journey I went on - learning Spanish from scratch to A-level in one year - was fantastic. I loved my year abroad and the university's community feel, too.
