Staff Profile

Sunny is a lecturer in clinical pharmacy who joined Newcastle University since April 2026. He is a registered pharmacist in the UK with primary and secondary care background. Throughout his practice, Sunny has worked with MPharm students and supervised foundation pharmacists in training year, striving to guide future pharmacists to deliver professional and patient-centred healthcare to community.

Sunny is the assessment lead in law and ethics, teaching law and regulations in pharmacy practice and how to apply ethical mindset in decision making. He also teaches a variety of clinical skills throughout all stages. embedding essential clinical knowledge into students and prepare them to work independently as prescribing pharmacists. In addition, Sunny supervises research projects in stage four, helping students to develop research skills and methodologies.

Sunny has experience in public health research from his study in University College London. His research interests primarily revolve around health policy, economics and health protections.
