Things to do on campus

Once you’re done exploring your former learning spaces, there’s plenty of activities to extend your time spent on campus.

Farrell centre

A new public centre for architecture and cities with a variety of experiences for visitors of all ages: exhibitions, public talks and debates, and more (free entry).

Great North Museum: Hancock

Newcastle’s museum of natural history, archaeology, geology and world cultures (free entry).

Hatton Gallery

This contemporary gallery has been at the heart of cultural life in the North for almost 100 years (free entry).

Northern Stage

The largest producing theatre in the North East of England. A place where ideas and people meet.

Taking wedding photos on campus

Many of our alumni who met whilst at university decide to return to Newcastle to get married and stop by campus to snap a shot in front of the iconic Arches.
