Part Year Accommodation

If you're joining Newcastle University for part of the academic year, please note that we will not be accepting part-year accommodation applications when the Accommodation Portal opens on 30 March.

We are currently in the process of securing accommodation options for part-year students, and will open applications for these rooms later in the year. Further details on how and when to apply will be shared as soon as this information is confirmed.

Availability and guarantee

Accommodation for part-year students is not guaranteed however, we will do our best to support you in finding suitable accommodation.

If we suspect that we won’t be able to offer you a room, we will contact you as soon as we can. We will approach accommodation providers in Newcastle to find out their availability and we will share this with you. If you'd prefer to source your own accommodation privately, the Student Union's housing guide may help you with your search.
