Airport Meet and Greet for International Students
Our friendly team of staff and students is ready to welcome you to Newcastle.
Our free service is available to new international students arriving at Newcastle International Airport for the first time.
Our friendly arrivals team will:
- greet you in the airport outside of arrivals holding welcome signs
- help you travel to your accommodation by coach or taxi
Please make sure that you are able to move or carry your luggage yourself, as you might have to walk a short distance to your accommodation.
Our meet and greet service will operate on:
- 21 January 2026
- between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00
If you are arriving outside of the operating hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or if you are arriving on a different day, you will need to make your own travel arrangements to your accommodation. Here is more information on travelling to your accommodation.
Booking for the meet and greet service is now closed. If you arrive during the day/times of the service, you can go to the Welcome Desk near international arrivals and we may be able to help you.
