We're excited to be host an academic led series of Maths Seminars, open to A level students.

Newcastle University School of Maths, Stats and Physics are happy to announce that we are opening up our Maths Seminar Series to Sixth Form students studying Maths to attend.

These general interest seminar talks focus on exciting topics in Maths and Statistics aimed at Stage 1 undergraduate Maths students. Since these are engagement lectures, they should be well suited to A-level Maths students also, providing a look at interesting Maths topics delivered by experts in their field.

The focus is the interesting things we can do with Maths, and not lots of equations!

How can A level students take part?

The series is available online and in-person, making the events easily accessible regardless of student location. We encourage teachers to share this exciting opportunity among students in your school!
