Teacher Resources
The resources below are available to help you to promote this opportunity to students at your school or college.
Book a PARTNERS talk
Our outreach team is available throughout the year to deliver a PARTNERS talk to students in years 12 and 13, as well information on other Supported Entry Routes at Newcastle.
Aimed at raising awareness of these programmes amongst your students, the talk is flexible and can last between 20 to 60 minutes, depending upon your requirements.
We are also able to deliver events online if necessary.
Bookings for school visits can be made via our School & College Outreach Website
Referee guidance
In order to make a decision on a student’s application to the PARTNERS Programme, we may require further information to be verified by a referee.
The referee should be a member of staff who is familiar with the applicant and can verify the details within the student’s application.

How to become a PARTNERS referee
If you need to be set up as a PARTNERS referee so that you can verify your student's application to the Programme, the student must complete a 'Referee Request Form' which can be found in the PARTNERS Application section of the 'Apply to Newcastle' portal. Please contact us if you are having difficulties:
To add a new referee, we need the following information:
- Referee name
- Referee email address
- Your school/college and postcode
Upon receipt of this information, we'll a referee account up, and the applicant will be able to select this referee on their PARTNERS application. Please note, you can not submit a PARTNERS application without a referee.
You can find out what we do with your data, how we keep it safe, and how you can exercise your data rights by reading our updated privacy notices.
