Studying at Newcastle
Why did you choose to study at Newcastle University?
Primarily the city itself, though the ranking and course content were of course important. Great location and opportunities for students.
How do you think your course prepared you for your chosen career?
While at Newcastle I was able to focus my broad interest in history and discover what I was particularly interested in. After writing my dissertation on Korean history and culture I was inspired to experience living abroad here after uni.
What did you enjoy most about your time at Newcastle University?
The city itself is a fantastic place to live. I was able to connect with some great people, and the city itself is incredibly friendly. I really enjoyed the student experience, and was always given the support and guidance needed by the faculty.
