I lead research at the intersection of electric mobility, user experience, and sustainable urban systems, using AI, data analytics, ethnography, and design to create more inclusive and accessible low-carbon transport solutions.
I am an academic researcher and educator with a deep commitment to sustainable energy and mobility transitions, specializing in electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, smart local energy systems, and AI-driven planning. With over a decade of research across India, the UK, Germany, Norway, Finland, and Slovenia, my work brings together machine learning, optimization, and systems thinking to tackle real-world challenges in energy planning and electrified transport.
I have led or contributed to high-impact projects funded by the EU, MSCA, HWK, and ERCIM. I have published over 30 journal papers, 25+ conference proceedings, and several book chapters in the domains of energy systems, transport, and sustainability.
I enjoy working at the intersection of technology, policy, and justice—whether it's modeling intersectional EV behaviours, developing planning algorithms, or mentoring the next generation of engineers.
