Staff Profile

I am currently on secondment working as a Strategic Project Manager in the Faculty of Science, Agriculture & Engineering.

Previously I worked as the School of Engineering Deputy Head of School Operations, leading the School's management services with senior level responsibility for the an environment to enable the teaching and research strategies.

I provided operational support to the Head of School and Head of School Operations in the delivery of the School’s Strategic plan. I led a multi-functional team responsible for the management of operations and was the administrative lead for Infrastructure, Business Innovation and Skills, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within the School. I played an active role in the development of the School Strategic Estate Plan and support the development and implementation of a strategy for engagement, employability and enterprise between the School and major partners.  I held senior administrative responsibility for globalisation within the School, working closely with internal and external partners. 

I worked previously as the Operations Manager in the School of Computing and as the Farm Operations Manager based at Cockle Park and as a Project Administrator.

Before working at Newcastle University, I worked in investment management compliance for 11 years.
