Staff Profile

As the School of Engineering Deputy Head of School Operations,  I lead the School's management services with senior level responsibility for the an environment to enable the teaching and research strategies.

I provide operational support to the Head of School and Head of School Operations in the delivery of the School’s Strategic plan. I lead a multi-functional team responsible for the management of operations and I am the administrative lead for Infrastructure, Business Innovation and Skills, snd Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within the School. I play an active role in the development of the School Strategic Estate Plan and support the development and implementation of a strategy for engagement, employability and enterprise between the School and major partners.  I hold senior administrative responsibility for globalisation within the School, working closely with internal and external partners. 

I worked previously as the Operations Manager in the School of Computing and as the Farm Operations Manager based at Cockle Park and as a Project Administrator.

Before working at Newcastle University, I worked in investment management compliance for 11 years.
