Brief Outline of Research Project:
This research examines the radical representations of girlhood in the works of three Asian American women writers from the 1970s to the present. It aims to explore the evolving expressions of Asian American femininity and activism, as well as how new norms of womanhood are transmitted to future generations of girls and young women.
