Staff Profile

I am a Research Assistant at Newcastle University, where I contribute to bioinformatics and biosecurity within the "Cyanobacteria Engineering for Restoring Environments" (CYBER) project. My role centers on computationally identifying "genomic safe harbors" for secure integration of synthetic dna barcodes for cyanobacteria. Through this work, I am part of a broader initiative to reprogram cyanobacteria for environmental restoration, pollution control, and the development of artificial ecosystems
